Registration

When a scout or adult leader joins the troop, he/she must complete a BSA Youth Membership or Adult Application and pay the required registration fees to BSA.  A member transferring from another Troop or Pack pays only a $1 transfer fee. 

Scout Health Records

Current health records and an outing permission slip need to be on file before a Scout can attend any camp outs. Only the personal history must be completed when the Scout joins. A physical examination by a physician must be performed and documented on the form before the Scout attends summer camp.  See the page on Permissions for copies of these forms.

Dues

Troop 70 dues have been temporally suspended and can be reinstated at the discretion of the Troop Committee.

Troop dues do not include the cost of the $10.00 annual BSA registration fee due in December. An optional Boys Life subscription is $9.00.

Scouts may have the opportunity to participate in fund-raising events during the year to help defray these expenses.
